We choose this place since it was right off the beach and has a great view(if you sit outside). Inside is nice but freezing! It’s October so I think we were 1 if 3 patrons eating. I did notice that a few nearby restaurants had a lot more people which gave me pause. Anywho, staff is very nice and attentive, menu is a little weird with 5 main entrees but several specials to supplement. I had coconut shrimp tacos with bacon, and my son had prime rib with baked potato and spinach. For some reason condiments were being provided in very small amounts, I was only given enough salsa and sour cream for about two or three bites. My sons big potato came with two little tiny butter packets and a small serving of sour cream. We need about 10 of those butters. Would’ve been better if it just came dressed so we don’t have to take out this little butter packets. The state came up medium rare rather than medium well. But the manager was very very accommodating, we didn’t even ask or complain, and he provided a new steak cooked properly, gave us 10% off the meal, and a free, very delicious dessert. In fact I would recommend going there just for the dessert. It was like an Oreo cookie mousse cake thing that was awesome. By the way the prime rib was very good but not a thick cut of beef, baked potato was a little undercooked. I was going to give it three stars, but because the manager was so accommodating I think they deserve a second chance.
Awesome food and great service by Michael! Mahi was fresh and the cheeseburger was fantastic. Great environment as well! Will definitely go back.
Great food in great location. One star less due to too low temperature in dining hall. Tables also available outside on the beach side. Meter parking available right next to it.
I came over over with a group of photography friends after our sunrise shoot over Deerfield Beach. The first plan was to go JB's on the beach but the didn't open until ten and it was nine. They kindly directed us over to Deerfield Beach Cafe and we ended up having a lovely breakfast. We were immediately greeted by the manager and requested to sit outside because the view is beautiful, you are right on the ocean with the pier to your left. They didn't have a table large enough to seat us all but they found us two tables next to each other which worked out perfectly.
Very nice people, good food. Prices reasonable for location & meal on boardwalk. B sure to save some bread for the birds as payment for the entertainment. If u don't like nature eat somewhere off beach, u don't deserve the spot.
The waitress took our order and promptly served coffee which we enjoyed while we waited for our food. I had the brioche French toast with strawberries and blueberries and bacon. It was a large portion and I don't usually eat that much but I finished every bite. I guess I worked up an appetite walking all over the beach this morning. Also my breakfast was delicious. Other people in my group had omelettes and pancakes. While we wait the manager came over to make sure everything was fine and the waitress checked on us several times to see if we needed more coffee. The tasty food, beautiful view, and dear friends made for a wonderful breakfast. I really enjoyed my visit to the Deerfield Beach Cafe.
