A very expansive park with lots of amenities for pedestrians and also people who use things like bicycles.
Great little hidden gem with tons of stellar bike trails, running paths, and overall scenic nature walks. Camped out here one weekend and the grounds were maintained well.
I now know how the park got its name! Never camped there, but will in the future. Open to the public during the week, except holidays, but still worth the $1.50 entry fee on holidays and weekends! Wonderful staff, clean areas to lounge around, and a paved bike trail along with advanced trails! Not too far from my house so I pack up my guitar and head out for an afternoon on my bicycle. Plus, when the renaissance faire comes into town, that's an added bonus! Fun for all!
The mountain bike trails Were really nice years ago before the stripped ALL the pines away. SO if you like riding in the sun enjoy, I'll not be going back. The rest of the park is very nice.
